FOX-12

GUDN (or FOX-12) is a dinitramide with excellent thermal stability, low sensitivity, low water solubility, no hygroscopicity, and a high gas yield.
It is a high explosive with calculated performance between TNT and RDX.

While it has been proven to be an excellent fuel in gas-generating compositions where there are strong requirements for both thermal stability at high temperatures and a high gas yield, GUDN (FOX-12) can also be used as:

  • A component in LOVA propellants for artillery modular charges;
  • A main component in melt-cast insensitive ammunition fillings.
