FOX-7

Characterized by a low inherent sensitivity, DADNE (or FOX-7) is drastically more resistant to all forms of impacts and friction than conventional military explosives in service today, while offering the same performance as RDX. This combination of safety and performance makes DADNE (FOX-7) unique.

EURENCO offers re-crystallized DADNE (FOX-7) in different particle sizes. It can be used:

  • For insensitive warhead fillings;
  • As a main ingredient in high performance propellants for tank ammunition;
  • For booster material.

Indeed, DADNE (FOX-7) has been shown to increase the burning rate in propellants more than RDX does, which is very interesting in high performance propellants.
