Created in January 2004, EURENCO (European Energetics Corporation) is jointly owned by SNPE Matériaux Energétiques (a subsidiary of GROUPE SNPE, with 60.2%), Saab (19.9%) and Patria (19.9%), all three majors in the high-tech defense, aerospace and chemicals industries.

EURENCO has annual sales exceeding 140 M€, more than 800 employees, five modern production plants in Belgium (Clermont), Finland (Vihtavuori), France (Sorgues, Bergerac) and Sweden (Karlskoga), plus full support from the SNPE Matériaux Energétiques Research Center (Vert-Le-Petit/Le Bouchet in France).

Organization

EURENCO is the only European manufacturer to offer a complete range of cutting-edge energetic materials for both the defense and commercial markets. More and more involved in new international programs, EURENCO has reorganized in two business units to enhance its flexibility and reactivity and to focus on customers and programs for common success:

Explosive Charges and Additives Business Unit, specialized in high explosives and compositions, cast PBX charges for Insensitive Munitions, base bleed grains, new energetic molecules, pyrotechnics, reactive armor kits and 2-EHN.

Propellants and Propelling Charges Business Unit, focused on propellants, artillery modular charges and combustible items.
