R & D activities for propellants at EURENCO:
With its production capability and the support of the SNPE Matériaux
Energétiques Research Center, EURENCO provides its customers
with a unique range of services:

- Ballistic, stability and safety labs for propellant

Thanks to these means, EURENCO, together with the SNPE matériaux
Energétiques Research Center, studies, develops and industrializes
high-tech propellants to follow and anticipate customers' requirements
evolution, including:
- Reduction in barrel erosion by using low flame temperature
propellants with adapted geometry and deterrents,
- Optimized loading performance by using a variety of new shape concepts.
Moreover, EURENCO works on development programs in close partnership with
its ammunition customers such as:
- New propellants for medium calibre ammunition with improved
thermal stability,
- Extruded impregnated single base propellants
for 120mm mortar ammunition,
- New single base propellants for 155mm/52cal.
